Our 40x80 pole tent gives you about 3,200 square feet of covered space, enough for a large wedding reception, corporate dinner, church celebration, festival, or school event. The 40-foot width leaves room to seat your guests and still set aside separate areas for dining, dancing, a buffet, a bar, and entertainment. Professional installation and removal on grass is included in the price.
How many guests fit in a 40x80 tent?
It depends on your table style and what else goes under the tent. These are the approximate numbers we plan around.

Round tables give you a classic wedding look but take up more floor space than rectangular tables. A tighter banquet layout with very little extra equipment can reach about 300 guests.

Built for weddings and large events
The 40x80 is popular for weddings and large Events because 3,200 square feet lets you divide the tent into zones instead of squeezing everything into one room. It's also a strong fit when you don't need a dance floor and want to seat more people: corporate dinners and employee events, church celebrations, school functions and graduations, fundraisers, award ceremonies, festivals, quinceañeras, anniversary parties, family reunions, and large birthday celebrations.
Rental period, setup, and teardown
Tent rentals are typically 1–5 days. Large tents are usually delivered and installed 1–2 days before your event and removed 1–2 days after, depending on our delivery schedule and route. That gives you time to decorate before guests arrive.
Standard pricing includes professional installation and removal on grass. If your site is concrete, asphalt, turf, or another hard surface, call us before booking. Hard-surface setups need extra anchoring equipment or labor, may cost extra, and aren't possible at every site.
Space you need for installation
The tent is 40x80, but the setup area has to be bigger. Plan for about 50 ft x 90 ft so our crew has room to stake, anchor, and work. Before you book, make sure the area is:
- Mostly level
- Clear of low tree branches
- Clear of fences and buildings that could get in the way
- Reachable by our installation crew
- Free of underground utilities where stakes will go

What does the $2,995 price include?
The 40x80 pole tent with professional installation and removal on grass. Tables, chairs, linens, lighting, sidewalls, and other add-ons are extra, as are sales tax, delivery, and any hard-surface setup charges.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for weddings and other peak-season dates. Pick your date above to see if the tent is open, and a 25% deposit holds it for you.
Is the 40x80 the right size for my event?
If you have a dance floor, a buffet, and a bar, plan on about 150–200 seated guests. For dinners and events without a dance floor, it fits more. Send us your guest count and layout and we'll confirm.
